Alexander F. Vasquez

Mechatronics Engineering Student, Lima, Peru

Undergraduate Mechatronics Engineering student at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), with research interests at the intersection of model-based control and robot learning. My work focuses on how optimization-based methods such as Control Barrier Functions and Model Predictive Control can be integrated with learned models and perception pipelines to develop safe and capable controllers for autonomous robotic systems. I'm currently preparing to pursue a PhD in Control and Robotics.
